Enrolling Now for 2021-2022 Head Start and Early Head Start

The Stark County Community Action Agency (SCCAA) is accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year.  Parents are encouraged to start the enrollment process now and gather required documentation to complete the application for their children. Classes for the 2021-2022 school year will begin in September, 2021. Only children with complete applications will be given classroom assignments.

Head Start serves children ages 3 to 5 who are not eligible for kindergarten, and the Early Head Start serves pregnant women and children from birth to age 3. The program brings many resources together to assist children and their families. Head Start activities help children grow mentally, socially, emotionally, and physically. Resources in the areas of education, nutrition, mental health & disabilities, family services, and parent involvement are part of this program. SCCAA Head Start centers are staffed by degreed teachers with locations in Canton, Alliance, and Massillon. All SCCAA Head Start sites have a 5-Star Step Up To Quality rating.
