Do you need help paying your utilities? The Stark County Community Action Agency’s HEAP Winter Crisis Program provides a benefit once annually towards your primary and/or secondary heating source. The benefit can be used by eligible households whose service is off, in disconnect status, who need to establish new service or pay to transfer service and also for those households that have 25% (or less) of bulk fuel (wood, coal, propane, and fuel oil). The program may also help with the placement of a fuel tank or furnace repair.
