Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak and based recommendations from Governor DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health, we have made some adjustments to our day to day operations. Until further notice, public access to the SCCAA lobby at the Webster Square building located, 1366 Market Avenue N. is limited to 8 individuals in the reception lobby area at a time.

We will continue to monitor this health crisis and, in the meantime, we will to work to provide vital assistance to our clients. First and foremost, we want to ensure safety and that we are taking recommended precautions wherever possible.

Energy Awareness Month

Join SCCAA in celebrating Energy Awareness Month all throughout the month of October!!  HEAP and HWAP work hand in hand to reduce the energy burden of low-income Americans.  Almost one-third of U.S. households have reported difficulty in paying energy bills or adequately heating and cooling their homes.  The National Weatherization Assistance Program Evaluation found that residents missed fewer days of work/school and had less out of pocket medical costs after weatherization.  Along with the cost saving energy that conservation measures provide, there are health related benefits as well. Weatherization improves indoor air quality and reduces potential asthma triggers like mold and dust.
